The staff of the Ingalls Library recognizes that some visitors prefer a more “do-it-yourself” approach to research and discovery. For you we have created guides using a variety of our library and archival resources to assist you in researching an object in your personal collection or an object in the museum’s collection. For further inspiration we have included examples of research by members of the museum’s staff on Rodin’s The Thinker [1] and on Pollaiuolo’s Battle of the Nudes. The Reference staff is always available for further research assistance.
