On April 9, Cleveland Museum of Art members were invited to Kent State University’s Textile Arts/Weaving Studio and to view Katharine Hepburn: Dressed for Stage and Screen at the Kent State University Museum.

Five Questions With ... Tom Catalioti

For the third installment of our Five Questions series, we spoke with Tom Catalioti, the museum’s director of facilities. Catalioti has been with the museum since 1976!

Q: What groups make up the museum’s facilities department?
A: The facilities department includes custodial, engineering, grounds, and building maintenance needs. As the director of facilities, I oversee these groups.

 

Celebrate the Newest Gallery Openings on Going Global Family Day, June 27

The entire community is invited to join in the celebration of the museum’s newest gallery openings with our Going Global Family Day on Sunday, June 27, from 12:30 to 4 p.m. The afternoon is filled with free activities, including opportunities to get up close and personal with works of art from our collections, hear stories inspired by the objects in the new galleries, and see mask-making demonstrations and performances featuring our visiting artists from Africa.
