Tom Hinson wins Cleveland Arts Prize
Former Cleveland Museum of Art curator Tom Hinson, who retired in December 2010, was honored with a Cleveland Arts Prize at a Gartner Auditorium ceremony on June 28. Hinson spent 38 years in the museum’s modern and contemporary art and photography departments.

New interim director announced
The Cleveland Museum of Art (CMA) announces our new interim director Deborah Gribbon.
Deborah will arrive at CMA on September 14 and take the new position on September 21 as Timothy Rub departs for the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
Deborah was most recently the Director of the J. Paul Getty Museum and Vice President of the J. Paul Gerry Trust for four years. She holds a doctorate and master's degree in fine arts from Harvard University and an undergraduate degree in art history from Wellesley College.
