David J. Rothenberg, Associate Professor of Music at Case Western Reserve University, will give an overview of German music from Albrecht Dürer’s era, with emphasis on compositions pertinent to the objects on display in the exhibition Dürer’s Women. The presentation will be illustrated by recordings of works by Heinrich Isaac (ca. 1450–1517), Ludwig Senfl (ca. 1486–1542/3), and Johann Walter (1496–1570), among others.
