CLEVELAND (April 27, 2012) – The Cleveland Museum of Art and Bon Appétit Management Company announced today the appointment of Sherri Schultz to the Director of Catering position, which will oversee the museum's new meetings and events program. Schultz brings with her over 10 years worth of catering, sales, and hospitality experience. Prior to joining Cleveland Museum of Art, Schultz was the Director of Catering with AVI at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus.

In addition, she gained invaluable experience during her time spent as Director of Sales and Catering with Levy Restaurants at Cleveland Browns Stadium where she was selected as a national corporate sales trainer to mentor new sales managers joining the Levy team, and traveled frequently to help execute their major events nationally. Schultz worked at the Ritz-Carlton Cleveland as a Catering Sales Manager where she believes she received the best-in-class training needed for a successful career in the hospitality industry.

"To be part of such important events is a privilege," Schultz stated. "There is nothing more gratifying than helping people create memories. I am thrilled to be working at such an amazing world-class venue and excited to collaborate with an outstanding culinary team under the leadership of Chef Douglas Katz in partnership with Bon Appétit Management Company."

Chef Douglas Katz stated, "I am excited to welcome Sherri to our team. She has the experience, professionalism and reputation in our community for exceeding expectations. Her passion and attention to detail will give our clients complete confidence when planning a meeting or social engagement. We look forward to setting a new standard for ourselves, and our clients, as we create this one-of-a-kind venue."
