The Print Club of Cleveland Hosts Its 39th Annual Fine Print Fair
Annual benefit for the Cleveland Museum of Art promotes prints and print collecting
CLEVELAND (April 17, 2024)—Join us at the Print Club of Cleveland’s Fine Print Fair from Friday, April 26, through Sunday, April 28, 2024, at the Cleveland Museum of Art (CMA). During the fair, visitors can browse and shop one of the nation’s most comprehensive displays of fine prints, learn about works on paper through demonstrations, and enjoy a day at the world-class CMA. The Fine Print Fair is the Print Club of Cleveland’s annual benefit for the CMA’s print collection, with the mission of promoting prints and print collecting. The fair, which is free and open to the public, takes place in the Ames Family Atrium.
“The Fine Print Fair offers an opportunity for art lovers to start building a print collection, enhance an existing collection, and learn about works on paper,” said Emily Peters, curator of prints and drawings. “This year, we are pleased to feature 15 fine print dealers from across the country. Whether you are a longtime collector or interested in purchasing your first print, you will find a wide variety of artworks to suit your taste.”
At the close of the fair, the Print Club is holding a raffle for a framed edition of Susan Bee’s etching Life, Still, donated by VanDeb Editions, framed by Art Etc., and valued at $1,950. Raffle tickets can be purchased online or during the fair.
“We are grateful for the continued support of the Print Club of Cleveland,” said Britany Salsbury, curator of prints and drawings. “For almost four decades, the club’s members have worked tirelessly to bring an annual fine-art print fair to the CMA. Now one of the largest print fairs in the country, it’s become a hallmark for collectors and newcomers alike.”
