A marble sculpture depicts a lion's head and tapered neck, with the face turned toward our left. It has a broad snout and narrow eyes positioned above an open, broken mouth. Deeply carved curls and circular holes create a textured mane. The off-white stone is weathered and pitted, with the neck extending toward the upper right. The fragment is set against a gray background, casting a soft shadow beneath.
