A circular steel shield features a slightly convex surface with a central twisted spike. Twelve radiating wedge-shaped panels are etched with intricate floral and scrollwork patterns. A rope-textured border lines the perimeter, accented by a ring of small metal studs. Flanking the center, four larger slotted screws are arranged in pairs to the left and right. The burnished metal surface exhibits a soft patina across its radial divisions.
