A circular bronze medal with a greenish-brown patina features a central open book in raised relief. The left page is inscribed "SAIN BIBL" in capital letters, while the right page displays rows of script. A sunburst of rays radiates behind the volume. At the top center, the letters "IHS" appear within a small circle. Curving along the raised border, the Latin inscription "POST TENEBRAS LUX." is set in capital letters.
