A horizontally oriented etching in black ink with dense, cross-hatched lines depicts a landscape. On our left, a tall tree and tangled shrubbery cast heavy shadows. In the center, a grassy hill slopes toward a small stone building. To our right, the terrain opens into a wide valley. Low hills stretch across the horizon beneath a sky of thin, horizontal lines. A handwritten signature appears in the lower right margin.
