This textile was designed by the French painter Raoul Dufy (1877-1953).

Description

Displayed at the 1925 world's fair in Paris then in an associated traveling exhibition that toured American museums the following year, this textile design illustrates a modern, abstracted approach to depicting flora and fauna.
