A circular, bronze medal features two sides framed by finely serrated edges. On our left, a central shield with three open books inscribed "VE," "RI," and "TAS" is nested within a laurel wreath and circular Latin text. On our right, the dates "1636-1936" crown a ten-line inscription in raised block letters. The dark-brown, patinated surface glows with metallic highlights on the raised relief against a smooth background.
