The undamaged pendant figures include, among others, Baubo, Serapis, Isis-Demeter, and a dwarf (perhaps a comic actor).

Description

This necklace is an amalgamation of several different pieces. A thick gold chain is attached to a central medallion, which holds a coin of the Roman emperor Commodus in its center, possibly an ancient replica. A second pendant chain is attached to the bottom of the medallion, strung with ten tiny amulets representing figures of gods, goddesses, and theatrical actors.
A gold collar features a thick, braided chain at the center of which hangs a circular medallion housing a gold coin with a profile head, encircled by a band of delicate openwork scrolls. A semi-circular hoop suspends nine tiny human figures below the medallion. One end of the chain terminates in a vertical pendant featuring gold bands and three rounded beads in muted green and tan.
