Description

This cross is decorated with images of Christ Pantokrator (Ruler of the World) on the front and the Virgin Orans (Virgin Praying) on the back.
A black schist cross features a central circular medallion with a relief of Christ. On each of the four flared arms is a smaller cross surrounded by scrolling patterns. Beaded gold triangles fill the gaps between the arms, while small gold rosettes adorn the outer edges. Christ holds a book in his left hand and raises his right. The stone is fragmented at the base.
