A rectangular basin is made from roughened brown, gray, and peach speckled stone. Four legs protrude from the bottom and a stylized jaguar head, teeth bared, is attached to one side. The legs are carved with a repeating diamond pattern, each diamond with a dot in the center. The pattern extends onto the jaguar's forehead, between large, round eyes.
