A horizontally oriented oil painting depicts a snowy forest with three wild boars. In the lower foreground, a large boar with dark brown fur walks toward the right. To the left, two smaller boars stand on the thin layer of white snow. Textured, leafless brown tree trunks rise vertically against a pale yellow-brown sky. Sparse brown leaves and twigs are scattered across the ground.
