A horizontally oriented black-and-white photograph captures four weathered, colossal mechanical arms of Hulett unloaders, machines used for moving ore. These dark, angular structures dominate the composition, slanting toward the upper left as a series of intersecting geometric shapes. Beneath the massive steel framework, parallel railroad tracks recede toward distant mounds. To our right, a railway car marked 53 11 59 rests in deep shadow. A calm body of water borders the pier.
