Chalk Festival 2018

Experience a weekend of colorful creativity as community members join professional artists in using the walkways around the CMA’s Fine Arts Garden as a colorful canvas at this annual special event! Watching the chalk artists and enjoying the entertainment is FREE.

Film: Kusama — Infinity

Yayoi Kusama’s life and work are surveyed in this acclaimed new documentary made by a former resident of northeast Ohio. Director Heather Lenz will answer audience questions following the screenings on 9/22 and 9/23.

Allen Ruppersberg: Then and Now

Ruppersberg pays homage to his hometown in a new series of photographs taken from the vantage point of billboards across Cleveland. Installed in metal light boxes, they serve as reminders of the city’s industrial history. Commissioned by FRONT International: Cleveland Triennial for Contemporary Art.
