Allow colors to be your voice and your mood. Let go, using abstract space for yourself to create. Utilizing common construction tools, such as drywall and spackle knives, artist Michael Gutierrez will walk attendees through the process of applying acrylic paints to canvas and cardboard in a dynamic and releasing form. This fun and loose application, inspired by his childhood in Cleveland’s Clark-Fulton neighborhood, reflects a traveled, layered, diverse, bold, and unhinged style. Attendees will be encouraged to identify which colors best reflect their thoughts, and feelings, and Michael will help to channel the expression. The exercise will be relaxing, carefree, easy, and healing.

Free. All ages. All experience levels. Supplies included. Participants can attend one or both workshops. Reserve your spot by emailing commartsinfo [at] clevelandart.org.

Gratis. Todos edades. Todos los niveles de experiencia. Suministros incluidos. Reserva tu cupo y envíe un mensage a commartsinfo [at] clevelandart.org.
