One hundred years ago the Cleveland Museum of Art opened its doors to the public with much fanfare and delight. For our 2016 centennial anniversary, the museum is excited to host a year-long series of exhibitions, programs, and celebrations that honor our past and look ahead to our future.

From the presentation of extraordinary loaned artworks from top-tier institutions across the country to once-in-a-lifetime events—there is something for everyone during the Cleveland Museum of Art’s centennial year. And because birthdays are all about surprises, we’ve planned a few of those too!
