About The Event

Join us at the Community Arts Center as we reflect on the impact Martin Luther King left on his community through an art-making activity with the Julia de Burgos Cultural Arts Center (JDBCAC).

The JDBCAC, founded in 1989, is the longest-standing Latino arts organization in Northeast Ohio. Inspired by Afro-Latina poet and educator Julia de Burgos, the JDBCAC transforms lives by preserving, educating, and promoting Latino heritage through the teaching and practice of history, culture, and the arts.
