About The Event
Join us at the Cleveland Museum of Art for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to hear from artist Takashi Murakami and the creators of the hit FX limited series Shōgun about their collaboration to design and construct the Yumedono structure in the Takashi Murakami: Stepping on the Tail of a Rainbow exhibition. Murakami is joined by Shōgun showrunners Justin Marks and Rachel Kondo as they discuss their inspiration and creative process, as well as the intersection of design, drama, art, and history. Curator Ed Schad from the Broad in Los Angeles moderates the discussion. Note: Murakami and Schad are appearing in person; Marks and Kondo are participating virtually while on location.
Each ticket holder receives one free pass to the exhibition Stepping on the Tail of a Rainbow and is entered to win one of two gift bags of Murakami merch. Member tickets include one free drink voucher for those over the age of 21. Ticket holders must attend the event to be eligible to receive the free exhibition ticket or to win the gift bag. Winners are contacted via email by no later than Friday, August 29.
