About The Event
Join us at the Community Arts Center for an afternoon to honor Dr. King’s legacy of community, storytelling, and shared heritage, through an interactive presentation and pop-up museum inviting families to explore the importance of preserving their own histories.
Families are encouraged to bring a small object, photograph, document, or memento that represents their family’s history or values. Together, these items will form a special MLK Day pop-up museum, celebrating the diverse stories, traditions, and legacies that make our communities strong.
Participants learn simple, practical tips for caring for meaningful objects—from photos and letters to small keepsakes—and discover how these items help tell the story of who we are and where we come from.
