Chamber Music in the Atrium: CLE Concierto
- Performance
Ames Family Atrium
About The Event
The museum’s popular Chamber Music in the Atrium concert series continues with a performance from CLE Concierto. Grab dinner from Provenance Café and join us at the tables in the atrium.
CLE Concierto, Northeast Ohio’s newest Baroque ensemble, presents a program of hidden masterpieces from the Baroque era in an evening dedicated to the artistry of female composers. This program includes works by Elisabeth Jacquet de la Guerre, Anna Bon, and the mysterious Mrs. Philarmonica, a contemporary of Georg Frideric Handel.
CLE Concierto is on a mission to identify composers whose stories are not often told by the mainstream and to connect modern audiences to their lost worlds and perspectives through dynamic performances and dialogues. More information can be found on the group’s website.
