About The Event
Fire & Grace is a journey across cultures, centuries, and traditions, where the elegance of Baroque music meets the soul and energy of folk traditions from around the world. Violinist Edwin Huizinga and guitarist William Coulter move freely between these musical worlds, finding connections that feel both ancient and alive.
For this special performance, they are joined by the extraordinary voice of Amanda Powell and by master piper Brian Bigley. Together, the four artists weave song, dance tunes, and centuries-old melodies into a vibrant musical conversation—moving from hauntingly beautiful stillness to irresistible rhythmic energy.
This concert is dedicated to the incredible healthcare workers at Cleveland Clinic. This past year, Edwin went through a deeply challenging cancer treatment and was surrounded throughout it by people who offered not only extraordinary care but also kindness, patience, humor, and humanity.
Tonight is simply a way of saying thank you—to the people who showed up every day, cared for him, and made a very difficult year a little easier.
