Wednesday, November 28, 2018, 6:00–7:00 p.m. and Wednesday, January 16, 2019, 6:00–7:00 p.m.
Location: Kelvin and Eleanor Smith Foundation Special Exhibition Hall

About The Event

These sessions offer a guided look at a work of art to mine for richer meaning, explore ideas, and discover overlooked details. To consider how the Valois Tapestries functioned as propaganda for the 16th-century French court, we explore the elaborate narratives depicted, as well as the cultural and political context in which the hangings were made. Exhibition ticket required.
