This film screening is in connection with Cai Guo-Qiang: Cuyahoga River Lightning, on view in the Julia and Larry Pollock Focus Gallery at the Cleveland Museum of Art through September 22 (free admission). This exhibition features three monumental gunpowder works by Cai Guo-Qiang, who is known for his gunpowder paintings, installations, and explosive displays. The exhibition is named after a work of the same title, created especially for the museum in honor of #Cuyahoga50, a citywide observation of the 50th anniversary of the last Cuyahoga River fire.
