Friends of African and African American Art members are invited to join the Lauren Rich Fine Curator of Contemporary Art Emily Liebert for a special tour of Martin Puryear: Nexus, on view through August 9.
Come experience one of the most celebrated and influential artists of our time in this comprehensive exhibition of his work, which sheds light on the ways that Puryear’s unique visual vocabulary has been shaped by his enduring interests in global traditions of material culture, African American history, and the natural world.
