About The Event

The Textile Art Alliance invites to you a talk by artist and author of Wool Applique Folk Art, Rebekah L. Smith, who will share her exploration into the world of early American folk art forms brought by European colonists and immigrants. She will also illustrate how she interprets these art forms in her own work with textiles and paint. Her love of antiques and folk art, combined with a passion for color and design, inform her wool work, decorative painting and murals.

Free to the public.
