Young artists from the Cleveland Institute of Music perform works by Shulamit Ran, Gareth Farr, J. S. Bach  for solo flute, violin, and viola as well as movements from string quartets by Prokofiev and Shostakovich.

  • Jessica Pasternak, viola, is an undergraduate student in the viola studio of Robert Vernon from Akron, Ohio.
  • Nathan Watts, cello, is an undergraduate student in the studio of Stephen Geber from Oaklyn, New Jersey.
  • Katrina King, flute, is a master’s degree student in the studio of Mary Kay Fink from Marion, New York.
  • Sarah Toy, viola, is an undergraduate student in the studio of Jeffrey Irvine from Vienna, Virginia.

  • Elizabeth Furuta, violin, is a master’s degree student in the studio of William Preucil from College Station, Texas.
  • Kyoungmin Park, violin, is an undergraduate student in the studio of Ivan Zenaty from Seoul, Korea.
