Drawing and Design Exploration Workshop (Ages 12 and up)

Wednesday, November 18, 2020, 5:00-6:00 p.m.
Registration closes Wednesday, November 11.

“I can’t draw. I can’t even draw a stick figure.” Why is drawing difficult and discouraging? In this virtual workshop, participants will explore that question while investigating different approaches to drawing and the ways in which we use lines to visually communicate ideas. All levels are encouraged to participate – from complete beginners to experienced professionals. This workshop is strongly conversational and idea-based with quick, fun drawing exercises/challenges throughout (i.e. draw your favorite logo).

Participants must provide their own supplies. See supply list. Class is conducted via Zoom. Participants must have access to a smart device (phone, tablet, desktop) with internet access.

Instructor: Jordan Wong
Registration: $30, CMA members $20

A limited number of scholarships are available. To apply, please submit the scholarship application form. If you have questions, please email familyyouthinfo [at] clevelandart.org for more information.
