Painting and Drawing Society Annual Meeting

Join Dr. Jon L. Seydl, the new John G. W. Cowles Director of the Allen Memorial Art Museum, as he presents his talk, “‘The Cause of Art Is the Cause of the People’: The Allen Memorial Art Museum from the Severances to Now.” Dr. Seydl’s background includes appointments at several major cultural institutions throughout his career, with curatorial positions at the Worcester Art Museum, the Cleveland Museum of Art, and the J. Paul Getty Museum. He has also taught at Case Western Reserve University, the University of Southern California, and the University of Pennsylvania. A dinner follows the talk.
