About The Event

Painting and Drawing Society members are invited to join Charles Kang, Mellon Post-Doctoral Fellow in Art History Leadership, for Splendor and Ingenuity: Eighteenth-Century French Decorative Arts at the CMA. From complex marquetry to brilliant silver and porcelain, this tour will examine the stylistic exuberance and technical innovations that made Paris the center of European decorative arts over the course of the eighteenth century. A cocktail reception in the Michael J. Horvitz Private Dining Room will follow the tour.

Painting and Drawing Society members will receive a digital invitation.
