Add to the rhythm and ring of Parade, community-style. Beginning in 2011 Parade Director Robin VanLear travelled to New Orleans for Mardi Gras in hopes of inspiration and ideas for bringing more music to Parade the Circle. Cleveland has a long history of both rock and jazz, but too many musicians seemed to feel that the only way to play music is standing or sitting on a stage. We increased the music in Parade 2011 and 2012 and finally broke through in 2013 and 2014 as musical groups of all kinds joined the dance that makes Parade the Circle come to life.

We want to bring even more music to Parade. Bring your existing musical group into the parade, or gather your friends and create your own parade performance ensemble. Professionals and weekend amateurs are both welcome.
