Learn about Relief Printing, with Zygote Press and Grace Wen on the Zygote Mobile Art Press
Grace Wen is a printmaker based in Cleveland, Ohio. Working primarily in relief, she has been printing at Zygote Press for nearly ten years. A graduate of the University of California, Davis, her work has been shown in New York City, Los Angeles, Phoenix, and in various locations across Northeast Ohio, including moCa Cleveland, YARDS Projects at Worthington Yards, the Galleries at CSU, and Waterloo Arts. She was the co-manager of Satellite Gallery, an installation-focused public art space in the Waterloo Arts District, where she curated shows of installation artwork on both the interior and exterior of the building. She has participated in the SPACES Monster Drawing Rally and collaborated with Maelstrom Collaborative Arts on The Wandering, an immersive, interactive performance piece.
Zygote Press is an established, nonprofit community printmaking studio, gallery, archive, and education center that supports artists through residency programs, studio access, and artistic development in a collaborative environment open to all.
