About The Event

The graphic arts played a groundbreaking role at Cleveland’s Karamu House, one of the nation’s preeminent Black community art centers. Founded as a settlement house in 1915, Karamu became one of the best-known sites for Black American culture. Karamu Artists Inc. presents more than 50 prints created by the group’s members.

Join Contemporary Art Society members for a tour with Stephanie Foster, lead interpretive planner, to learn more about community voice labels, the process of establishing and executing learning goals of an exhibition, and more!
