About The Event
Stephen Hannock will discuss his current artistic projects and his effort to update and modernize landscape painting, building from the achievement of figures such as Alfred Hitchcock and the painters of the Hudson River School.
Stephen Hannock is one of America’s leading contemporary painters, with work in the National Gallery and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. He won an Academy Award for his work with Robin Williams and has also collaborated with the rock star Sting.
