A Virtual Celebration: The Reinstallation of the Contemporary Galleries

Tuesday, April 20, 2021, 6:00–7:00 p.m.

About The Event

The CMA is telling the story of contemporary art in a bold new way through a reinstallation with fresh viewpoints to create new experiences. Of the works on display, almost half are by women, and about a third by African or African American artists. The new installation parallels that of other parts of the museum in its expansive, global approach.

Beginning April 20, you can visit the reinstalled galleries: The Betty and Max Ratner Gallery (224A); Toby’s Gallery for Contemporary Art (229A, 229C); The Paula and Eugene Stevens Gallery (229B); all within the S. Mueller Family Galleries of Contemporary Art.

Leadership Circle members and donors who provide annual support of $10,000 and above will receive a digital invitation.

This event will be hosted on Zoom; the event link and instructions will be provided to those who RSVP.

The Cleveland Museum of Art’s Leadership Circle is a devoted community of friends who make the museum a priority in their annual philanthropic giving. With gratitude for this generous support, the museum provides Leadership Circle donors with unique opportunities that enhance enjoyment of the CMA through engagement with our collections, curators, and staff.
