October 28, 2001, through January 6, 2002. This exhibition is devoted to the theme of the artist's studio in the work of Pablo Picasso. Approximately 36 paintings and 9 drawings demonstrate the central place of this theme in Picasso's work and present the remarkable variety of ways in which he explored the artist's studio through portraiture, still lifes, interiors, landscapes, and allegories of artists at work. For Picasso, the studio was the crossroads of all that occured in his life and contemporary society. About the Exhibition Tickets, Memberships, and Museum Hours Who Was Picasso?
