About The Exhibition

I Sing the Body is a group photography show that is a response to the glorious variety of skin and body types that surround us.

Works were chosen from the Fred and Laura Ruth Bidwell Collection as well as a number of loans from museums, galleries, and exhibiting artists. The exhibition include works by Christopher Bucklow, John Coplans, Amber N. Ford, Myra Greene, Peter Larson, Richard Learoyd, Lewis Morley, Zanele Muholi, Carla van de Puttelaar, Carlo Van de Roer, George Sánchez-Calderón, Paul Mpagi Sepuya, Matthew Stone, Lyndsy Welgos, Carmen Winant, and Sarp Kerem Yavuz.

This exhibition was organized by Transformer Station with support in part by the residents of Cuyahoga County through a public grant from Cuyahoga Arts & Culture.
