Virtual Educator Open House

Virtual Educator Open House August 10–12, 2021
Join us CMA’s Virtual Educator Open House! Learn the ways the CMA can support learning this school year, both virtually and in-person. Virtual sessions are 30 minutes long. Expect a mix of informational presentations, games, and artful discussion! For each virtual session attended, educators will automatically be entered into win a raffle prize. Some sessions will be repeated.

Tuesday, August 10

  • 4:30 – 5:00 p.m.: CMA Reorientation - Join us for an overview of how you and your students can interact onsite and remotely with CMA this year. Register here.
  • 5:00 – 5:30 p.m.: How to Register for a CMA Program - Learn about how to schedule a CMA program using the museum's new form and what you need to know to prepare for your visit. Register here
  • 5:30 – 6:00 p.m.: Collection Online 101 & Education Art Collection - Learn the ins and outs of the CMA Collection Online – we will cover how to filter your search, what objects have 3-D views, then learn about the history and treasures of CMA’s Education Art Collection. Register here.

  • 4:30 – 5:00 p.m.: Creative Challenge - Ready for a challenge? Join us as we create together. Bring some aluminum foil and your competitive spirit. Register here.
