May at CMA

Register for this free self-guided program that runs on weekdays, May 7–31, 10:00 a.m.12:00 p.m. 

Upon check-in, school groups receive a booklet with prompts and activities to guide them through the museum’s galleries. Museum staff are stationed throughout the galleries to facilitate activities and conversations to engage students with the art surrounding them. Explore Art Up Close, a special opportunity to get close to authentic works of art from our Education Art Collection, in the Ames Family Atrium. 

  • Please note that during May at CMA, guided school tours are not available.  
  • Lunch spaces are not available during May. School groups are welcome to eat outside on Wade Oval. 
  • No backpacks or food are permitted in the museum.
