An off-white, gessoed wood box with a rectangular body and a vaulted lid features three rounded ribs spanning across the top. The surface is weathered with horizontal cracks and dark spots. Centered on the front, a yellow rectangular panel contains vertical columns of black Egyptian hieroglyphs. The bottom edges and corners are worn and chipped, revealing the wood beneath the white coating.
