Description
This large square textile is a composite, assembled from several different woven and embroidered panels and finished with a long thick fringe. These silk-embroidered pieces might have been parts of old clothing or other textiles. Stylistic assessment connects it to Greek and Macedonian traditions; such objects were made in the eastern Mediterranean for the tourist market.- {{cite web|title=Composite textile|url=false|author=|year=1800s|access-date=21 December 2025|publisher=Cleveland Museum of Art}}
