A square piece of deep red velvet textile features a plush surface with a subtle sheen. A thin gold-colored cord borders the edges. Four braided cords end in ornate, multi-tiered tassels of gold and red silk; two hang from the bottom corners and two from the top edge. Along the upper border, three horizontal thread loops hold the drawstring cords. The rich crimson fabric displays slight color variations across its soft surface.
