on top there are a number of inscriptions in black: "Roma," "Trevere R," "C:ST: Ang" (for Castello San Angelo), "S: Pe:" (for San Pietro), "S.G.L." (probably for San Giovanni Laterano). on interior of lid: "WIENNE."
