A circular bronze medal depicts a man in a hooded robe facing our left, nailing a large document to a tall arched door. He is flanked by columns and the dates 1517 and 1917. A circular border contains the text "QUADRICENTENNIAL OF THE REFORMATION." Small medallions at the top and bottom show an open book and a cross entwined with a serpent, respectively. A banner at the bottom reads "JOHN 3:14-15."
