A sculpture depicts a reclining pig carved from jade, a stone mottled with shades of cream, light gray, and dark brown. Facing right, shallowly incised lines define its ears and legs tucked against the elongated body. The blunt snout terminates in a dark, polished surface. Weathering and fine cracks texture the stone throughout. Where details are carved or worn, the surface appears lighter, contrasting with the smooth finish of the head.
