A circular bronze medal features a figure in flowing drapery striding to the right. One arm reaches forward holding a curved branch, while the other is raised. To the left, raised serif letters read "FOR SERVICE FAITHFULLY RENDERED." Radiant lines fan out from behind the figure across the background. The bronze has a warm patina with a finely textured, granular surface that catches the light along the raised forms and text.
