A vertically oriented reddish-brown ink lithograph on cream paper depicts a man from the waist up in profile, facing left. He has shoulder-length hair and a long, full beard. Wearing a light coat over a dark waistcoat, he rests his right hand with curved fingers. Thin hatching and fine lines define his form against the blank background. Small initials W.R. and the date 99 appear in the lower right.
